Aotearoa Ultra Marathon - Saturday 14th January 2023
The Aotearoa Ultra will be held on Banks Peninsula and Christchurch, encompassing some of the most picturesque settings of Canterbury. Starting in Little River, you will experience Akaroa Harbour up close, Pigeon Bay, Port Levy, scale Mt Herbert and experience amazing views of Lyttleton Harbour as you make your way to Christchurch’s Halswell Quarry and the Finish. 3 Events:101km Aotearoa UltraLittle River to Halswell Quarry - Solo or Team of 2(Team change over Pigeon Bay) 48km and 53km

53km Aotearoa UltraPigeon Bay to Halswell Quarry - Solo or Team of 2(Team change over Port Levy Spur car park) 22km and 31km
15km Aotearoa Warm UpGebbies Pass to Halswell Quarry – Solo
The 101km Ultra will take in 3,975m of elevation throughout this great run. Starting at Little River runners will cross to Akaroa Harbour, run though Wainui, French Farm, Devullchelles, to Pigeon Bay, Port Levy, up and over Mt Herbert across the Summit Road, Kennedy’s Bush, The Crocodile to Halswell Quarry.
Throughout the run, competitors will experience some of New Zealand’s most picturesque scenery created by some of New Zealand’s early volcano’s.
